STAND IN UNITY. STAND IN UNI-FORM.
Unchanging in form, unbending in character, P.E. Nation’s UNI-form is part of our response to equality and unity. UNI-form aims to unite men and women from various backgrounds and industries with a common thread. We’ve stripped the competition from the game. Because rather than competing with one another, UNI-form is a show of unanimity, an opportunity to stand on equal footing with the person next to you. Irrespective of age or industry we see the power in our collective similarities, we want to celebrate the connections we all share, and we revel in our individual style. UNI-form isn’t marketed towards any specific gender identity, it’s a one style approach for everyone; you simply wear your UNI-form your way.
The UNI-form collection shoot unites an incredible mix of industry leaders, musicians, sportspersons, family members. Individually and as a group these like-minded individuals stand atop the customised grandstand to view collective change as it’s made on the global playing field. It’s here that P.E. Nation gathered real people, and friends of the brand, to break down barriers and to advocate a show of unanimity.
Much like sustainability, how a business places the spotlight on equality, where every person is deemed equal and uniformly respected, can and often will draw criticism. While some will herald us as doing our part right, others will simply view our UNI-form as symbolic. The difference sits within our intention; and our intention here is to honour the change taking place across industries, sporting codes and gender; our objective is to buck the traditional expectations of masculinity and femininity; and we are determined to level the playing fields of fashion and function through this adaptive co-ed clothing range, comprising everyday wear for everyone. Join us on the journey.
We caught up with some of the incredible talent from our UNI-form shoot to talk unity, community and what they think of the new unisex collection. Meet the team.
