P.E Nation: Pop Up Pilates San Diego Event

P.E Nation Pop-Up Pilates San Diego Event

P.E Nation's Fit Morning | San Diego

Getting back into the swing of a feelgood routine following the richness of the festive season has to be one of the biggest and best moments of self-care and resetting that any year brings, and 2023 so far has been no exception. Following a successful run of active events across the US in 2022, prepare for even more P.E Nation activations, group workouts and events across the globe.

We started 2023 with a bang, with a pop-up Pilates session in San Diego. A city known for its sunshine and sandy shores, we can confirm this coastal California destination is just as beautiful in wintertime. Guests joined our Fit Morning with just the kind of big energy we love, and gave their all to enjoying the moment.

The beautifully refurbished Guild Hotel, right in the heart of downtown San Diego, was the backdrop for our Fit Morning - the perfect meeting place for wellness, fashion and fun. Located in the iconic Armed Services Building, the original building has a rich YMCA history. Its architecture stays true to its 1920s foundations, with a blend of modern touches and original features bringing a unique offering and true luxury to the city.

The Guild's one-of-a-kind ballroom, with high-vaulted ceilings, could easily play double time as a ballet studio - and proved the perfect centrepiece for our mini retreat.

Floor Workout with the Pilates Movement

The morning began with a 35-minute floor workout led by Cameron Kotch, certified Pilates Practitioner and founder of the Pilates Movement, one of San Diego's most popular Pilates studios.

Guests were dressed in cosy P.E Nation Pilates outfits for the workout session; the perfect opportunity to roadtest the fit and feel of our sustainable studio sports crops and leggings.

Attendees included Olympian and ESPN Analyst Danielle Lawrie, interior designer and entrepreneur Chantelle Malarkey, lifestyle and home content creator Natalie Brekka, SoulCycle instructor Janelle Bird, and professional home organizer Kasey Moore.

The P.E Nation Fit Workshop

Immediately following the workout, the group had the opportunity to rest up, truly slow down, and sink further into the moment with a guided sound bath meditation. Rising in popularity in recent years, the benefits of sound baths in modern life include helping to bring body and mind into a deep state of meditation and healing.

P.E Nation's head of sales, Cassandra James, flew in from Sydney, Australia especially for the morning, and ran a fun mini leggings workshop to showcase the range and give further opportunity for guests to discover the feel and fit of P.E Nation collections. An exclusive shopping experience, self-care astrology sessions, mimosas, Green Goddess mocktails and fun with the Selfie Station all followed.
