P.E. Nation x H&M
The Fashion of Sustainable Athleticism
H&M’s annual designer collaboration is one of the loudest chimes on the international fashion clock, and they’ve done it again - if we do say so ourselves. Having gained a widespread reputation for successful collaborations with the likes of Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney, Versace, Kenzo, and Cavalli, we are thrilled to announce that the high street stalwart has joined forces with P.E. Nation to produce a collection of iconic P.E Nation x H&M silhouettes reimagined in more sustainable fabrics.
As well as escalating P.E Nation on a global platform and taking it beyond Australian shores to all women of the world, this alliance marks P.E. Nation as the first Australian brand to ever collaborate with the global retail giant – and the magnitude of that is not lost on us. Ranging from the high-tech to almost-DIY, this sustainably conscious collection plays equally to the athleticism and fashion take on street sport; and features clothes, swimwear, undergarments and accessories, designed in collaboration with the H&M in-house team.

While the protection of our planet is not a niche issue, new ideas can flourish in a sustainably minded brand, and P.E. Nation’s push to produce conscious fashion, coupled with H&M’s goal to become climate positive throughout their entire value chain by 2040, was one of the key drivers behind our latest collaborative initiative
P.E. Nation Co-founder and Creative Director Claire Tregoning explains, “One of the main reasons we partnered with H&M is because of their sustainable timeline projection. They’re doing amazing things for the environment and for fashion. For example, they’re using artificial intelligence to make their supply chain more sustainable, to trace the source of their materials and to understand their environmental nuances throughout each step; and they’re really looking to take the concept of circularity to another level. We need a long-term approach to deal with complex sustainability issues, and this sustainable conscious collection ensures we’re on that trajectory with a leader in the arena.”

Fashion meets athleticism rings true with the diverse casting coup, which features international models Anyelina Rosa, Eryn Krouse, Sabina Karlsson and Shanina Shaik alongside P.E. Nation Co-founders Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning. Resonating across both brands and aesthetics, this global campaign represents a collection of women that exude strength on the runway, on the field and throughout daily life.
We understand first-hand, the need for activewear in all aspects of day-to-day life so naturally, these designs stay the P.E. Nation course of wanting women all over the world to live a more confident, vibrant, fashionable life while juggling their fast-paced urban existence. This collaboration showcases strong design, innovative materials and real creativity throughout a collection that can be worn all day, every day.
